Digital Interclub Competition 2013

Greater Lynn participates in a four-screen digital competition with three other clubs in Eastern Massachusetts - Gateway, Stony Brook and Merrimack Valley Camera Club. the competition takes place in early May. File requirements are the same as digital competition. Much like GLPA's Smackdown competition, each club submits an image that best represents each category. On the evening of the competition, the four images are projected at the same time and a judge scores the images 1 to 4. The club with the fewest points at the end of the competition wins.

Images for the 2013 competition must have been taken after April 2011. Members are asked to recheck the metadata before submitting the images. Images will be collected in the late winter 2013. At that time, the chairman will acknowledge the email to confirm receipt of your images. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please resend the email.

Since many of the categories are the same as those from the Smackdown, many of the top images from that competition are open for consideration as well.

The initial selection night will be advised when we post our 2012-2013 calendar. Start taking images now for consideration for this fun competition.

Members are asked not to submit more than two images per category per maker. Pick your best images to submit.
