Nature Group

(available to members only)

The Nature Group is open to any member of Greater Lynn interested in nature photography. Meetings will be scheduled monthly throughout the year on an evening other than Monday. This group is open to all members, beginners to experienced photographers. Members are encouraged to submit five nature images which will be shown on an informal basis during the evening. Participants are asked to share the what, when, where, and how of their images. Beginners are offered gentle suggestions to improve their work while experienced photographers are expected to give details useful to others. Sequences of images to be shown back to back to illustrate a technique or nature story, should be sent with a note to that effect. Members do not need to submit images to attend. Images should be sized 1400 for horizontal or 1050 for vertical and e-mailed to mrcloran@comcast.net three days prior to the scheduled night for that month.

On occasion, we plan to have some instructional sessions by experienced photographers but the overall intent is to have group involvement. There will be local field work sessions based on subject availability, group interest, and the willingness of someone to organize an outing.

Email reminders will be sent prior to meetings and field gatherings. Come on down and check us out.
