Showing of the 36th Greater Lynn Internarional Exhibition

The Greater Lynn Photographic Association announces the venue for the exhibition show. This year the show will be at GLPA headquarters, 564 Boston St. Lynn, Ma 01905, on Sunday afternoon, April 1, 2012 at 2 PM and on Monday night, April 2, 2012 at 7:30 PM. This years exhibition had a record breaking 1563 entrants with over 6200 images, from 34 states and 63 different countries. Our club participation went up this year to 34 clubs from 6 states and 12 different countries. We had new clubs from China, Iran and Russia as well as our first USA club out of the New England area, a club from Maryland. One of the Chinese clubs sent in an entry of 63 of thier members. Over 300 entrants came from New England Clubs who were all trying to win the best club medal. That honor this year went to the Merrimack Valley Camera Club of No. Andover, MA. Please join us to see this spectacular array of images from all four corners of the earth. This years exhibition has some very unique images in it. After the show we will present the Medals to those winners who are in attendance, and catalogs to those of you in attendance who entered the exhibition.

The multi-media showcase is being put together by a Greater Lynn talented audio-visual producer, Barbara Rozavsky, MNEC . The show will run approximately 90 minutes with a short intermission. It will contain about 2000 of the higher scoring images that were "accepted into the exhibition" by the judging panel, Christine Germain, MNEC of MA, Dennis Goulet, MNEC of RI, and Andre Gallant, ANEC of St.John's, Canada.
