"Exploring the art of Photography"

This presentation is a great collection of photo essays provided by the GLPA membership. Our presenter, Barbara Rozavsky MNEC, takes the varied topics and choreographs them to an appropriate piece of music putting them into an amazing showcase of photography.
A selection of 40–60 images on a single theme makes up a segment. Every year is different, last year we had a number of travel segments which took us from the east coast to the west coast. We visited places as close as Essex County, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. Further afar we saw images of Death Valley, Iceland, Prague, Sweden and Israel. Other subject mater included a dog show, sports bicycling event, the world of Coca-Cola, the Fourth of July, the restful sea or the beauty of nature.
Member's segments will be collected until Monday, October 18. Prepare your digital images (size and resolution) as you do for competition. They should be handed in on a a jump drive. If you need to submit your digital images on a CD, please do NOT burn the CD using Vista, as (thanks to Microsoft) the CD is not readable on a Mac. You’ll need to use a program like Toast.
This year's show will take us around the world travel from nearby Downeast Maine to Alaska to Ireland to France. If that’s too whirlwind a tour for you, perhaps you’d prefer to not cross the pond so we’ll visit both the Southwest and Colonial Williamsburg, check out lobster fishing close to home, go for a ride with equestrians at the Jumper Classic, and enjoy the pipers and drummers of the New Hampshire Highland Games.
A collection of wildlife portraits, an assortment of felines, and the people around us should put a smile on your face. For others, the smile may be generated by some gorgeous babes. Or maybe you’d like to imagine yourself relaxing in a peaceful garden. There should be something that appeals to you in this year’s presentation.
