"PSA Print Interclub Competition- Print of the Year-2016-2017 Season-Open to the Public"

Saturday, June 17, 10:00 AM

Much like our Print of the Year competition this is the interclub print of the Year competition where they will select the best of the best for the year. Our print chairman Larry Dunn also handles our NECCC and PSA interclub activities and he has volunteered GLPA to host this competition.

There are five categories: Large and Small Color, Large and Small Mono, and Creative. There will be 3 judges with a scoring machine only and no critiques just like GLPA’s end of year competitions. Judges are Rob DeRobertis of the Stony Brook Camera Club, Mike Di Stefano, HonNEC of the Photographic Society of Rhode Island and Shiv Verma, APSA, MNEC of Greater Lynn. All prints that have received a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in one of the four competitions held this past year qualify for this end of year June competition. The clubs competing are both USA clubs and foreign clubs.

Larry is still looking for a few GLPA members to help him with the process both on Saturday for print handling for the judging and on Thursday night to log prints in the database.

Here is a chance to see some of the best prints in PSA competitions. The competition is open to the membership and the public. You can come and go as you wish. Stay for an hour or stay for the whole day. GLPA has about a dozen prints in the competition.
Please contact Larry Dunn at ldunnvt@gmail.com if you can help.
