"Summer Closing Party-Desserts & Digital Images"
by Chris Germain, MNEC- Director
Monday, June 26, 7:00 PM

Please note-We have changed the night’s arrangements a bit. As my schedule at the moment is extremely hectic, busy and very full, I find I cannot do the pizza party this year. We have now changed the night to a potluck dessert and munchies. Chris Germain has graciously agreed to take over for the night and we ask that if you are attending to please bring a dessert ,munchies, or hors d'oeuvres to share with the group much like we do on Confabulation night in December each year. We will still provide the beer, wine, soda, and coffee.

As is our custom, it will be an end of the year gathering to share our images with friends. This night is open to any club member whether you have gone on a field trip or not. This is a great opportunity for you to compare your shots to those of someone standing beside you. If you are attending, please plan to be at the club by 6:45 P.M. You can sign up on the field trip web site if you want but it is not necessary-just show up. If you want to sign up, click the sign up link on the left side of the field trip page, answer the information needed and hit send.

Even if you didn't attend any official club field trip please feel free to bring your images in to be viewed. Perhaps you went on an interesting trip or field trip of your own. The images can be on any subject of your choice. Remember, we have no entertainment without the images, and no entertainment makes for a very dull night. Candid shots of fellow GLPA members are always fun. The images will be run on the big screen with some of the hall lights on, as we mingle and munch on the refreshments. You are all invited to talk and visit while we share the images in a casual atmosphere. The images will start at about 7:30 P.M. to give us a bit of time to have a bite. Put up to fifteen images on a thumb drive or a CD, sized as you would for competition -1024 x 768, or a short -one to three minute or one song- minishow on a CD or a thumb drive and we'll all have a delightful evening of sharing the creativity and camaraderie of that mutual endeavor that rules us all- Photography.
