We will be hosting the January PSA Projected Image Division- PID Group E interclub judging and the January PSA Nature Division -ND Class B interclub judging on the same night, Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

GLPA competes in the PID interclubs in Class A and so we cannot host our own class. Group E is made up of 25 clubs from around the world including Quinebaug Valley from CT. There are three European clubs. Each club is allowed to enter six images with only one by any one maker.

GLPA competes in the ND interclubs in Class A and so we cannot host our own class. Class B is made up of 37 clubs from around the world including some local clubs like Assabet Valley of Hudson, MA. Each club is allowed to enter six images with no more than two by any one maker and at least four different makers.

The images are arranged in ‘rounds’ similar to an international exhibition, so the first image from each club will be seen and judged before the second image, and so on. There will be three judges each scoring from 1 to 5. The typical scoring range is 7 to 15.For the PID, the competition is open to all types of images but all content must be the work of the maker- e.g. no clip art or royalty free stock from other sources. For the ND competition, images must comply with the PSA nature -open definition.

If you have wondered about how an interclub competition works or are curious about what other clubs are doing in the way of work, be sure to mark this on your calendar.
