Our last program of February will give you an opportunity to see what other clubs are doing throughout the USA, Europe and Asia when they compete in PSA Interclub. Greater Lynn will be acting as the host club for the judging of the February PSA PID -Projected Image Division- interclub competition.

We will be judging Class B, the class immediately below us. Greater Lynn competes in Class A. There are 24 clubs in Class B, including multiple clubs from other countries and two local clubs - Cape Cod Viewfinders and Boston Camera Club. We anticipate roughly 144 images-6 per club. The process is that each club’s entry is segmented into ‘rounds’. Round 1 would be the first image from each club’s entry, round 2 the second image, etc. Each judge will score from 1 to 5 giving a scoring range from 3 to 15. There are no comments by the judges for this type of interclub competition. After the initial scoring our judges will select the Award of Merit-AM and Honorable Mention-HM images from the top 10 per cent of the images based on score.

This is a quick judging normally known as ‘impact judging’ as the images are only on the screen a few seconds for the judges to push a scoring button. This will give you a better understanding of how your image is judged in an interclub judging or a PSA International Exhibition judging.

This is an excellent chance to see images from quality clubs across the country and around the world.
