Our normal procedure has been to have several exhibits per year by various members having one or two prints each in a multiple members’ exhibit and that worked quite well.

This is a GLPA event and as such, I need help to make sure that we "put our best foot forward"for the Drop Off, Opening Reception, Publicity, Pick Up, and Curating and Hanging the exhibit. All assistance will be greatly appreciated.
If you are interested and can assist, please contact Larry at the email address listed above.
Guidelines and requirements for these GLPA Photography Exhibitions
GLPA members can submit up to two pieces for the exhibitions. All photographs must stay on display at the Arts & Culture Department of the City of Lynn and the Demakes YMCA until the closing of the exhibitions. There will be room to hang ~50 photographs depending on sizes. The first 50 photographs submitted will be accepted for the exhibition.
Photographs can be priced for sale, but all sale arrangements will between the buyer and the photographer. GLPA and the Demakes YMCA will not be responsible for handling of any sales or possible payment issues related to sales of photographs.
Photographs need to be framed and wired ready to be hung. Any piece not ready to be hung will not be accepted. Sawtooth hangers are not acceptable. Photographs cannot be larger than 36"x 36" and must weigh less than 20 lbs. Photographers name and title must be on the back of each photograph. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his/her own. All components of the submitted print image must be the work of the maker including all editing work done in any fashion, electronic or otherwise. This includes all parts of composited images.
AI created or AI altered images will not be accepted for exhibition.
Licensed Images: We appreciate that many members are actively promoting their work and often seek alternative avenues including the sale or licensing of their work to commercial sources. All members must understand that the sale or licensing of their work to a stock agency or other commercial enterprise places restrictions on the use and display of that image. Greater Lynn Photographic Association does not wish to unknowingly display a licensed or otherwise restricted image on its website or in any other manner that may violate the terms of the member’s licensing or sale agreement with a third party. We therefore require that members refrain from entering any image that is licensed or otherwise restricted in this exhibition.
The Demakes YMCA is located at 40 Neptune Blvd., Lynn, MA 01901. Parking is available on street or in the parking lot off of Blossom St.
