"Get the Shot- But Make It Sharp"

Our speaker states-as a long time photographer I have seen many images from others that aren't sharp where they should be. I've heard the woes about not getting a sharp photo with this lens or that lens or is something wrong with my camera. There are so many influences on ones photography that solving those sharpness issues can be hard to do. My presentation will hopefully raise awareness of the many 'gotchas' that can interfere with your goal in obtaining sharp images so that they can be used for printing, on screen or presentations.
Discussed in the presentation will be camera types, sensors, lenses, composition, photo taking techniques and much more.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, our speaker has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. His work experience includes R and D, Applications, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales all in the Electronics industry. Bob retired from electronics and now works full time in Photography. He loves teaching others about photography in all aspects from landscapes, studio, product, portrait photography, software and much more. He has obtained recognition in national and international competitions, and does educational presentations and judging at local camera clubs.
