Monday, September 12, 7:30 PMThis past July at the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) 75th Anniversary Conference we had a special showcase of images put together by our own Barbara Rozavsky, HonNEC. As part of our dedication to conference attendees over the years and to the new England Camera Clubs and their members, this presentation showcased many past conference competition medal winners & NECCC interclub winning images and prints. (Prints shown in digital format) This presentation is pure entertainment in a showcase of medal winning images set to music by one of the top showcase presenters in New England.
Barbara will also do at the beginning of the evening a five-minute presentation on Apple AirTag and Tile-devices to help you keep track of your keys, suitcase or your camera bag.Our speaker has been a member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association (GLPA) since 1971. A past president of the organization, she is currently our membership chair. She also served as the presentation director of the Greater Lynn International Exhibition for more than 25 years. GLPA recognized Barbara’s contribution to the association by bestowing the association’s Honorary Life Vice President status in 2010. In addition to her involvement with GLPA, Barbara also served as president of the New England Camera Club Council. She is currently a VP on the NECCC BOD and was Co-Chair of the Photo Ops Committee at the July conference for several years. Along with lecturing and judging at other area camera clubs, Barbara has taught basic photography classes at North Shore Community College for more than 30 years and will be teaching a Fall Basic Photo Course at the Lynn club in November. She has also started a new Beginners Group for new photographers who have joined the club. In recognition of her promotion of photography and her service to photographic organizations, Barbara was made a Master Member of NECCC in 1987 and was awarded her HonNEC from NECCC in 2013.
