Wide angle lenses have come a long way over the years and are a fantastic tool for creating dynamic and engaging images. The human eye and brain view and interpret the world around us at an approximately 35-50mm focal length equivalent. There’s is no way to ‘see’ the world at 12, 14 or even 16mm unless you look through a wide-angle lens. During this program Kurt will share some of his favorite tips and techniques to help you master the art of seeing and shooting dynamic wide-angle landscapes.

Our speaker is a professional outdoor photographer and educator based in northern Vermont. His photographs and articles have appeared in numerous books, calendars, advertising campaigns, magazines and are routinely used by non-profit conservation organizations working to protect wild lands.
