Sunday, October 1, 9:00 AM

Sunday, October 1, 2023 - two sessions
9 am to 12 pm
1 pm to 4 pm
each session limited to 20 people

Come join professional nature photographer and Tamron Pro, Roman Kurywczak, as he shares with you all of his technical tips and tricks needed to take your closeup photography to the next level without having to rely on a tripod. This is a 3-hour session, and each session is limited to 20 participants.

Many people are comfortable with creating shallow focus closeup images but Roman will show you how to achieve consistently tack sharp images, all in a single frame, simply by using a flash, and handheld! The key to Roman ’s success is using flash correctly to properly balance any exposure and achieve dramatic results.

During the half-hour lecture, Roman will explain some frequently used tricks by the pros so that you can easily apply them in the field or studio to quickly improve your closeup skills. Many of these tips and tricks are inexpensive and can be done using the gear you already own. During the entire lecture you can ask questions to ensure that you go home with a better understanding of all the topics covered in the program and create tack sharp images of your very own.

Following the lecture, there will be a 2.5 hour hands-on shoot with flowers, seashells, watch parts, and more! Roman will be there to assist participants with settings and setups so don’t forget to bring your camera, with fully charged battery, memory card, lens with good closeup capabilities, and a flash.

Price is 30 dollars per session-check or cash. If paying with PayPal the cost will be 32 dollars to cover the PayPal fees.
