Greater Lynn International
The Largest and Best Known Single Division Color Projected Exhibition

Click here to see the 2012 top award winning images

The Greater Lynn International is a digital competition with entries received from all over the world. It is sanctioned by the United States, Canada, and European organizations. These organizations give us very strict rules and time tables to follow to be eligible to give their medals each year. There are about 80-90 of these exhibitions held worldwide each year. Greater Lynn is the largest one held and has had that distinction for over 20 years. It involves six months of work by our members, and is also very expensive to run. We are only one of three exhibitions in the Northeast.

This will be our 36th year of running an International Exhibition. We normally receive entries from 50-55 different countries, and about 40 different states. Images are judged over a two day period by a panel of three judges. This year we had 1,563 entrants with 6236 image submissions. The highest scoring images are then put into a showcase style presentation choreographed to music. This year's Color Exhibition show will be presented on Sunday, April 1 at 2:00 PM and Monday, April 2, 7:30PM, at Greater Lynn for an $8 donation. Our show is open to the public. We publish a catalog with all the accepted images listed, pictures of the medal winning slides, and all the names of the patrons will be listed.

Members can help out on the scheduled work nights. The work nights start in earnest in mid-February. The members enjoy the camaraderie while setting up the entries.

Members and patrons can help in any of the following monetary ways:

#1 - Medal Sponsorship - There are approximately 28 medals that need sponsors. For a donation of approximately $25-$35, depending on the medal, you can get your name on a title image in the show and in the catalog. The medal sponsorships generally go very fast. The medal signup sheet is passed around at a Monday meeting early in January.

#2 - $15.00 Donation - Become a "Patron" and your name will be listed in the catalog.

#3 - $30.00 Donation - Become a "Benefactor" and your name will be listed on a multiple title image in the show (4 to 5 names per image) and be listed in the catalog.

#4 - $60.00-99.00 Donation - Become a "Silver Benefactor" and your name will be listed on a double-named title image in the show and be listed in the catalog.

#5 - $100.00 or more Donation - Become a "Gold Benefactor" and you will have your own title image in the show and be listed in the catalog.

#6 - Enter the Salon - All it takes is 4 digital images and an entry form.

Entry Fees

Gr. Lynn Members $5 discounted entry fee. As a member, if you enter online, I would appreciate it if you would give me the $5 entry fee in person or mail it to me as it costs us $.69 per entry for the PayPal fee.

If you have an image entered in the show, you may bring your family and friends to the club to see your images as part of one of the most beautiful showcases held at the club each year. Our showcase presenters Barbara Rozavsky, MNEC and Dan Charbonnet, FPSA, MNEC do a fantastic job each year, bringing your photography to life. Help keep Greater Lynn on the map.

Thanks in advance to all of you who provide assistance in any way. Internationals are a lot of fun to participate in. Join us and get your friends to enter!
